TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE
The Bedford Bears are excited to host a Try Hockey for Free clinic on Sunday, February 23rd, from 4:00 to 5:20 PM at The Harvey School - Evarts Rink!
This event is a fantastic opportunity for families with kids ages 4 to 9 to experience the thrill of ice skating and discover the lifelong lessons that hockey has to offer. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll provide the fun!
TIME: Try hockey starts at 4:00 PM, please plan to arrive at the rink at least 30 minutes prior for check-in and to be fitted with equipment.
What to bring: We encourage those who have access to equipment to please bring it. If you do not have any equipment, you will need to bring:
- A loose-fitting pair of sweatpants or snow pants
- A pair of gloves (they don’t need to be hockey gloves- mittens are fine)
- A helmet
- A Smile
What will be provided:
We have skates and a limited amount of equipment available for you to borrow. If you have any equipment questions, please let us know. If skates are needed, please let us know so that we can have them on hand.
ON-ICE EXPERIENCE: We will have plenty of coaches on hand to give your child a great youth hockey experience, they will get an opportunity to learn the basic skills of youth hockey and enjoy their first game.
